Think of a storm of sun on a quiet morning of blonde light, think of the soft oxymoron of the south: the sunsets that precede the dreamy nights and the dreams that determine the events in the lives of some men. And here is the dream of Augusto Cantele, one of the first oenologists in Puglia capable of conceiving and obtaining contemporary Chardonnay.

A wine that becomes the mirror of the terroir that hosts it, profoundly different from that grown elsewhere, born as a bulk wine that initially played a basic role for the wines of Northern Italy. So much so that its story vaguely resembles an acrobatics, something that can only be achieved by those who train to seek and then suspend in a gesture, in this case in a wine, an otherwise impossible balance.

And it is thanks to this patient exercise of dreamers that the lyric of Cantele's Chardonnay has distinguished itself. So as to develop an identity, like an unmistakable profile in a photograph that portrays multiple faces. Identity of a wine that managed to conquer the White Wine of The Year at the Challenge of the prestigious London fair in the nineties. Since then, this Chardonnay has been singing its warm story of Salento in the glasses.
